The Presidential Leadership Award represents WNMU’s highest recognition for leadership and service excellence among staff employees. Selected by the President, this award honors an individual whose leadership, innovation, and service exemplify the spirit of “Mustangs Serving Mustangs” and have made a meaningful impact on the University community.

Their dedication to enhancing the lives of our students, colleagues, and community members is a true reflection of the values we hold dear.

WNMU faculty are eligible to earn Distinguished Faculty Awards which are overseen by Academic Affairs/Faculty Senate President and the Sabbatical Leave and Faculty Awards Committee.  Each year, the Faculty recipients are honored during the Fall Convocation.

Employee recognition is of paramount importance within any organization, as it serves as a powerful tool for enhancing motivation, engagement, and overall performance.
